64GB ExoPC Slate Hits Pre-Order

The ExoPC Slate tablet computer has been making its rounds for a while now. The machine looks pretty darn cool and runs Windows 7. If you like what the machine has to offer and have been waiting to order yours, today might be the day you get your chance to order.

The 64GB version of the Slate is now available for pre-order. The device has one major caveat though; the maker hasn’t been able to get GPS working on the device so far. GPS is still being worked on but it may not be offered in the final product.

Since the availability of GPS is a question, the company is cutting the pre-order price form 799 CAD to 749 CAD. The price will remain the same even if GPS is fixed in time to ship. The machine is using a SanDisk SSD for storage that is really fast according to the maker.
