NVIDIA unveiled its latest line of notebook GPUs not long ago that are Fermi-based and included the GTX 460M. Asus has announced today that it is cramming the new GTX 460M GPU inside its G53 and G73 notebooks aimed at gamers.
The new GPUs are the first Fermi-based mobile GPUs from NVIDIA and are fully DirectX 11 compliant. The GPU has 1.5GB of GDDR3memory and supports 3D gaming as well. The G53JW notebook gets the new GPU and can be optioned with a number of IntelCore i7, i5, or i3 CPUs, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 750GB of storage. A 500GBSSD is also an option.
The G73JW can be fitted with the same hardware and only differs in the size of the screen. The G53 is a 15.6-inch machine and the G73 has a 17.3-inch screen. The notebooks will also have 3D screen options for gaming and can be fitted with a Blu-rayplayer as well.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
