3D is the big topic at the IFA 2010. German Telefunken has unveiled a line of new Android Tablets with a 7-inch model supporting 3D display. The 7-inch Telefunken T12 3D Touch PAD is apparently still a prototype, but has been on display at the IFA. Like on most 3D TVs you need glasses to see the 3D effect.
Besides the 3D function, the Telefunken T12 offers GPS, HD video playback, a camera, Wifi and USB. When Telefunken is releasing the 3D Android Tablet is not known yet. Their other Android Tablets with 5-inch screen sizes are shipping in the fourth quarter.
The IFA 2010 Consumer Electronics Show will take place in Berlin from September 3rd to September 8th. The IFA 2010 is celebrating the 50th edition and we will be reporting about all the new announcements. Stay tuned for tons of 3D TV related news.
