Apple unveiled the completely new iPod nano 6G last week. The tiny square iPod with touchscreen is one sexy device. Now the first publications have published their iPod nano 6G reviews. The iPod nano 6G is on sale at Amazon with some discount.
The new iPod nano is quite different from the previous model. Not only does it differ in size and user interface, but it also lost the camera again and playback control. Macworld concludes their in-depth review of the iPod nano with "Perhaps it's better to think of the new iPod nano as version 1.0 of a completely new device, rather than the sixth generation of an existing iPod. If you’ve always wanted the touchscreen interface of the iPod touch on a smaller, audio-only device, the new nano is a pretty good 1.0 product, but it's got enough room for improvement that I’m already looking forward to next year's model."
For me the fact that it is completely new makes the iPod nano 6G even hotter. Early adopting always has some drawbacks, but in case of gadgets priced under $200 you can enjoy beeing first without breaking the bank.
