Apple Store updated new iPod Shipping Dates

The first new iPods are already under way.

The Apple Store has just updated the shipping times for the new iPod touch, iPod nano and iPod shuffle to 3-5 business days. Until now Apple stated 1 week as shipping time frame. 9to5 Mac reports that Apple already sent out shipping notices to customers who already ordered the new iPod nano 6G. The first iPod nano 6G reviews are also already out. See this iPod nano 6G review round-up.

In related news, it is expected that Apple is releasing the new iOS 4.1 update today. The new iPod touch 4G will already be shipping with the new iOS release.
