Mophie has been making hard cases for the iPhone for a while not that have a battery inside to provide longer run time for your device. The original Juice Pack was open on the top and looked a bit strange. Models that are more recent are fully enclosed for a more streamlined look.
The latest Juice Pack has been unveiled and is made for the iPhone 4. The Juice Pack Air for iPhone 4 is shipping right now for $79.95 and is a full wrap around case that keeps the style of the iPhone intact. The battery inside the case promises twice the power for your smartphone with an extra 6 hours of 3G talk time.
The battery is a lithium polymer unit and the case is designed to enhance the sound coming from the iPhone 4 speaker. The Juice Pack also has a LED light indicator to show the charge level and the capacity of the battery is 1500mAh. The case also has pass through USB for charging the iPhone internal battery and the Juice Pack at the same time and allows sync to function.
