App Downloads Will Soon Beat iTunes Downloads?

Apple is coming up to another major milestone. TechCrunch reports that asymco has just put up a graph which shows that App Store downloads will outpace total iTunes song downloads this year. In a little over 2 years, the App Store has reached the same number of sales as iTunes music has managed in 5.

Both services will reach 13 billion downloads before the end of 2010. Some time this year, or early next year, we can expect to see the App Store beat iTunes music for total number of downloads.
