Kno doesn't like to make boring promises. GigaOm reports that Kno believes their new device will be the greatest thing since sliced bread. This device will be a dual-screen tablet, with each display a 14" capacitive touchscreen. The intended market? College students, as Kno has been courting textbook manufacturers.

You'd expect a device like this to be uproariously expensive, but the company has estimated that it will come in at under $1000. Optimistic? Maybe, but they've got my full support and best wishes in achieving that goal. No word on battery life, but this weird new slate is expected to hit before the end of this year.
