Unlike the pop star it's based on, development on Michael Jackson: The Experience is gonna stay alive a little bit longer. The game has been pushed back to next year despite originally being scheduled for release in two months.
Ubisoft has confirmed that the product will miss its pivotal holiday release schedule for an early 2011 launch instead. This is reportedly because the publisher wanted to spend more time perfecting the game's support for PlayStation Move and Xbox 360 Kinect.
As such, the delay in question refers only to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. The Wii, PSP, and DS installments will still be available on November 23.
But for the next-gen gamers, it apparently won't be out until as late as April of 2011.
It's nice to see that Ubisoft isn't holding off on the other platforms just because of the 360 and PS3, but it's also too bad that the most advanced versions of the game won't hit the holiday timeline.
