This is the Black Friday 2010 3D TV Deal: Samsung PN50C490

Samsung offers in their new 4-series Plasma TV models one set with 3D support. The 50-inch Samsung PN50C490 has 720p resolution panel, but offers 3D and also Samsung's real-time 2D to 3D conversion. The Samsung PN50C490 is already selling for under $1,000. We featured a deal on this budget 3D TV over the weekend that gets you two free pairs of 3D glasses, when you buy the PN50C490.

The reason of making a new 50-inch Plasma with only HD-Ready resolution and 3D technology can only be one: Black Friday. I expect to see the Samsung PN50C490 pop up in Black Friday 2010 circulars and sales events from major retailers. The sales price of the Samsung PN50C490 during Black Friday 2010 season could go as low as $799.

Retailers and consumer electronics companies will really need to get creative this Holiday shopping season to get consumers to buy into 3D. If you look at the TV bestsellers on Amazon right now, you will see that there is no 3D TV under the first 37 spots. The bestselling 3D TV is on tghe 38th spot and is the high-end Samsung UN55C8000. In the next week sales really start to matter and it looks to me that Samsung has a joker in the race for 3D TV market share in the United States with the built for Black Friday 3D TV PN50C490. The Samsung PN50C490 is on sale on Amazon.
