Nokia World is underway this week and as part of the show, Nokia is showing off a new range of mobile phones. The new line includes the E7 smartphone running Symbian that looks to be the ultimate business device. The E7 supports Exchange ActiveSync and has direct access to corporate email.
The device has a 4-inch touchscreen that uses Nokia ClearBlack technology for better outdoor visibility and has a full QWERTY keyboard as well. The keyboard slides out from under the screen and the screen tilts slightly when the keyboard is out for better visibility.
Nokia says that a array of business security features are included in the handset, but offers no details on what exactly those features are. The MSRP for the E7 is 495 euro and it will ship this year in Europe. There is no word on when the device might come to the US.
