The Panasonic 3D Plasma TVs are now available in select stores. Best Buy carries currently the 50-inch TC-P50VT25 and the 54-inch TC-P54VT25 in stores.
Plasma is seen to offer better 3D image quality than current LCD displays.
If you have decided to purchase a Panasonic VIERA VT25 you get now two free 3D Blu-ray movies from Panasonic. You get Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs and Coraline for free via a mail-in coupon when you purchase a Viera VT25 between May 16th and July 10th.
The qualifying 3D Panasonic TVs include the top of the line 65-inch TC-P65VT25, the 58-inch TC-P58VT25, the 54-inch TC-P54VT25 and the 50-inch TC-P50VT25. More details.
Both 3D Blu-ray movies are actually not announced and there is no release date. If and when these will be available for purchase is open.
Samsung offers in their 3D starter kit the 3D Blu-ray movie Monsters vs. Aliens.
