Web Inventor Sir Tim Berneres Lee wants a Free Internet Connection for Everybody

WWW inventor Sir Tim Berners-Lee called at the Nokia World Conference for low-bandwidth connection for everybody by default. I totally agree. Countries should give their citizen a free basic internet connection. Internet is almost as important as electricity.

Tim Berners-Lee pointed out that only 20% of the world population have internet access. More details of his speech can be found on the BBC.

If you are too young to remember how the Internet looked before Tim Berners-Lee came up with the World-Wide-Web, read up on it on Wikipedia.
