3M has been making pocket projectors for a while now with the MPro 150 getting reviewed not long ago. 3M has now announced that it has a couple new pocket projectors for mobile pros that offer some very nice features called the MP160 and the MP180. Both of the projectors share many of the same features.

The MP180 and MP160 both have 30 lumens of light output and can work for two hours on a single charge. Both also have the same SVGA resolution. The MP180 has 4GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, USB port, WiFi, and Bluetooth connectivity.

The MP160 is sold with video cables for connecting to a multitude of devices and to computers. The projectors have internal stereo speakers and audio outputs as well. The MP160 is going to sell for $349 with the MP180 going for $399. Both can be pre-ordered right now.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
