Google tips it's hat to the Oktoberfest today. The famous Oktoberfest has launched today in Munich. The Oktoberfest 2010 is a special one as it marks the 200th anniversary. In its 200 year history that Oktoberfest got celebrated 176 times so far. The Oktoberfest 2010 is the 177th beer fest.
Besides beer the Oktoberfest also offers a huge entertainment park with huge roller coasters and more. The official Oktoberfest site (English) has webcams and tons of information available. I live pretty close to Munich and have been many times at the Oktoberfest. It is definitely a unique experience.
Of course there is an iPhone app for the Octoberfest 2010 as well. The Octoberfest app gives you information about the beer tents and how many visitors are expected each day. You can download the app here.
