The 2010 ToysRUs Holiday Hot Toy List is here

Toy retailer ToysRUs has published today the 2010 ToysRUs Holiday Hot Toy List featuring 36 toys that are new this year. Christmas is still a couple months away, but the Black Friday 2010 shopping season is actually already starting in about 6 weeks. If you already know by then what toys you need to buy as gifts you can start your Black Friday shopping early and get the best deals.

Among the ToysRUs Holiday 2010 toy picks is the Dance Star Mickey from Fisher Price. Dance Star Mickey is the Tickle Me Elmo puppet of 2010. Another animated puppet is the Bigfoot Monster from Fisher Price (photo). Bigfoot features over 80 actions and phrases, Bigfoot stomps around, throws tantrums, exercises, somersaults, naps and more when kids press buttons on a foot-shaped remote control. The Toy Story 3 U-Command Buzz Lightyear beats Bigfoot in terms of actions. With 10 program buttons that can create over 1,000 action combos and the ability to control Buzz using a joystick controller, kids will think Buzz actually left Andy's house en route to their own home.

My favorite tech toy for the Holidays 2010 is also on the ToysRUs 2010 toy list. Scrabble Flash (Buy on Amazon) from Hasbro is a fast-paced version of the classic scrabble. Slide, swap and shuffle five electronic freestanding tiles to create three, four or five-letter words – all without a game board! As the tiles form new words, they light up and beep using SmartLink technology while tracking time left in the game and players' scores.

The 2010 ToysRUs Holiday Hot Toy List features 36 total items, including the "Fabulous 15" which represents the very best toys of the season.
