Apparently, the main focus for Google's Chrome OS is going to be tablets. So much so that Samsung's Galaxy Tab may soon be upgradeable to the new browser-based operating system. APCMag reports that Britain's Sunday Times has heard that the Tab will just be the first part of Google's Chrome-tablet thrust.
Chrome OS is set to hit before Christmas, and HTC has a tablet that is believed to be due out in November. If that is the case, November is also when we're likely to see the Tab upgrade become available. Consider it Samsung's lazy way to "test the waters" with a Chrome OS slate.
