Trek Support: A Backpack Charger

We have covered several Quirky products in the past. This company features gadgets and gew-gahs designed by nerds, for nerds, and funded entirely by nerd-money. Today, they have a new product nearing completion.

The Trek Support is a backpack that can charge your laptop and other gadgets on-the-go. It packs a removable USB gadget dock capable of charging up to 3 devices. The battery provides roughly seven hours of juice, and the pack is designed to be checkpoint and TSA-friendly.

There is a large main compartment with a big clamshell opening, outer zippered pockets for minor travel detritus and even outside mesh pockets for your phone/MP3 player that have an additional USB outlet which threads back through the strap into the gadget dock.

The Trek Support is not available for purchase now, but it is currently on pre-sale. Once they get 1,200 orders, this thing will hit production. You can commit to buy one now for $130. As soon as enough folks sign up, Quirky will charge you and start shipping. Go here to order.
