Bug Labs makes the cool bug system that has a bunch of modules that people can cobble together to make just about any gadget they can dream up. The Bug Labs kit has been around for a while and is now on version 2.0.
The system has all sort of modules already and Bug Labs and Verizon Wireless have announced that they have teamed up to offer users of the Bug system Verizon mobile broadband modems for use in their designs. The modems are network ready and will come with the software needed to integrate them into a Bug design.
Verizon will allow the modems to be activated on its network without sending the device into testing first. This is a cool feature and will add many new possibilities for designers using the Bug Labs system.
