A listing of the upcoming FlingSmash for Wii leaked a new Wiimote on GameStop. The product page has been removed now. NintendoLife snapped though a copy of the FlingSmash cover art. On it you see a new Wiimote dubbed Wii Remote Plus that has the motionPlus accessory built in. This new remote could also point to a new Wii console release that will have these new controller in the package.
The FlingSmash release was scheduled for November. End of this month Nintendo wants to tell us the Nintendo 3DS release date. Maybe Nintendo will also talk about new things for the Wii. With Playstation Move and Xbox Kinect attacking this Fall, Nintendo might counter with something new. A new MotionPlus enabled Wiimote is nice, but not really dazzling. I hope Nintendo will have more, like a new super low price point for the Wii.
