Acer Outs New Aspire AS8943G Notebook Computer
Acer offers new big screen multimedia rig

The CPU for the notebook is an Intel Core 17740-QM quad core offering and the machine can be fitted with 4GB or 8GB of RAM with 16GB max supported. Other features include a massive 18.4-inch screen with 1080p resolution. The notebook also has a 500GB SATA HDD for storage, FireWire port, and eSATA. The machine has 802.11n WiFi.
Acer also fits the machine with a 1.3MP webcam and it has a Blu-ray player for watching movies on the 1080p screen. The sound system is Dolby optimized with five speakers and a subwoofer. The notebook starts at $1499.99 and can be ordered now.
