Sanyo has unveiled a new projector that is designed for large venues with a large price to match. The projector is called the Sanyo PLC-HF10000L and it has 2K resolution with 10,000 ANSI lumens of brightness. The projector also uses QuaDrive technology with an extra color element for better color and image quality.
QuaDrive adds a yellow element to the red, green, and blue that are normally used in 3LCD systems. The extra color allows for more vivid and life like colors and can show a wider color gamut than other projectors.
The projector is designed for fixed emplacement and there are over 12 different lenses for different install needs. The projector can be hooked to a network with an Ethernet port and has multiple inputs including HDMI 1.3, DVI-D and more. The big projector will ship in November 2010 for $34,995.
