We'd heard rumorsearlier this summer of an October 11th launch for WindowsPhone 7. Now BGR reports that Redmond has started sending out invitations to the media for a media event in London that same day. The 3.5 hour event starts at 9 AM, which certainly seems like a generous enough timeframe for a product launch. Earlier we reported that the Windows Phone 7 launch would be on October 21st in Europe and on the 8th of November in the US.
WP7 will be launching first in Europe. This event will probably feature a walkthrough and overview of the new OS, followed by some demos and hands-on time with actual WP7 gadgets. It's impossible to know what will be in attendance there, but I think the HD3/HD7 is probably a safe bet.

Kmart Black Friday
Black Friday is still a couple of months away, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t start getting prepared now. If you want to get in on the action in the best way possible it is important to have a good understanding...
The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
