Amazon already says to support new BlackBerry Tablet

Yesterday RIM unveiled the hot BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet. RIM will launch this worthy iPad competitor early 2011. Amazon already announced to support the PlayBook with its own Kindle app. Kindle is already available on BlackBerry Phones.

"We're very excited to add the new BlackBerry PlayBook to that list. As with our other Kindle apps, the BlackBerry PlayBook app will be free and will incorporate our WhisperSync technology so you can seamlessly switch between devices. Our vision is 'Buy Once, Read Everywhere.'" says Dorothy Nicholls, Director, Amazon Kindle.

RIM has unveiled hot hardware and from the looks of it the QNX based Tablet operating system is also state-of-the-art. The only thing that could be a problem is developer support. The PlayBook needs tons of apps not just the Kindle reader.

More details, photos and a video of the PlayBook can be found here.
