Toshiba has unveiled a new storage solution for customers looking for more speed when it comes time to back up all their data. The new storage solution is called the Canvio 3.0 Portable HDD and the drive comes in several capacities and colors. The new drives have USB 3.0 connectivity and are backwards compatible with older interfaces as well.
The Canvio 3.0 HDDs come with NTI BackupNow EZ software with 256-bit data encryption to protect your important and private data. The drive also has an internal shock sensor and ramp-loading tech to keep the drive safe during movement.
The drives will come in 500GB, 750GB, and 1TB capacities. The 500GB offering is $119.99, the 750GB is $129.99, and the 1TB version goes for $179.99. All of the drives are available to purchase right now.
