The Dell 7" Slate we covered earlier this month has just popped up again. The WSJ reports that Dell Greater China President Amit Midha has revealed that their new tablet will be available within the "next few weeks". A 10" tablet will hit within 6-12 months.
Dell appears to be taking the scattergun approach to the tablet market. They've already launched a 5" tablet, and Mr. Midha revealed that "a whole slew" of different-sized tablets will be due within the next year. 3" and 4" form factors were mentioned, in addition to the larger 10" tablet. The new 7" slate runs Android, but at least a few of the new tablets will run some Windows OS.
