We already reported about all the Apple TV reviews that hit the web. Now we also get a look inside from iFixit. As usual iFixit takes apart new Apple devices to show us the beauty inside. The Apple TV as we know runs on the Apple A4 CPU. What we did not know is that it has 256MB Ram like the iPad and a stunning 8GB flash storage.
8GB sounds a bit much to be just used as streaming buffer. I am pretty sure we will be able to use the space to store Apple TV apps. Considering that an Apple iPod Nano with 8GB is selling for $149, the Apple TV is a real bargain.
The new Apple TV box is pretty tiny, but packs a lot of hardware power. Check out the complete Apple TV tear down on iFixit.
