We have new details of a Samsung WP7 venture today. WMPowerUser reports that a DSL Reports speed test has revealed some interesting information. The Samsung Omnia 7 and the HTC T8788 both popped up in the tests. The T8788 has been previously spotted on AT&T, but this one was pegged for Verizon.

Since Big Red has yet to adopt a WP7 smartphone, this could be big news. Thomas Husson with Forrester Research sent out a tweet pegging both devices for an October launch.
