Google launched a nice little site today that showcases all Android phones around the world. All the phones in the gallery include Android Market, Google Search, and other Google Mobile services such as Gmail, Maps, and YouTube. You can select your country and see the Android phones offered. You can select phones and compare them side-by-side. At a single glance you can see all the specifications and features of the selected Android phones.
The United States has the largest selection of Android phones compared to other countries. I am counting 22 including the Epic 4G, Samsung Vibrant, myTouch 3G Slide and the classic HTC Hero. Google is though not listing all available Android phones. The new Fascinate from Verizon is not listed. The reason for this is that Search is provided by Bing and not from Google.
This makes the Google Phone Gallery less useful. Google should reconsider and put the customer into the focus. Google can highlight that the Fascinate comes with Bing and not with Google search in the comparison, but excluding these Android phones is not the way. Explore the Android phones on Google now.
