RIC Android Robot shows up in Japan

The RIC Android Robot got unveiled in Japan. The Android OS controlled robot has of course the looks of the Android logo. RT Corp and Brillant Service Co have developed the 120cm tall Android robot.

The RIC Android robot is still pretty limited and WowWee toy robots can hold up with it. The companies plan though to take their Android based development further. The developers plan to incorporate cloud computing to manage and store motion capture data, video and audio. More detials on Tech-On. Other Japanese robot projects are much further ahead.
