Klipsch has a whole home audio solution that uses wireless speakers called the LightSpeaker system. That speaker system has a new outdoor option that has been unveiled called the AudioRock Outdoor Speaker. The AudioRock will not work without the LightSpeaker System.
If you need the LightSpeaker System, it sells for about $600. If you already have, the new speaker is waterproof and rustproof and has a built in receiver. The receiver supports the 2.4GHz test of the main speaker system.
Power for the AudioRock comes from a removable and rechargeable lithium battery that is good for eight hours of music per charge. The charger takes four hours to fully charge the battery. The speaker uses a pair of 0.75-inch tweeters and a single dual voice coil 5.25" woofer and is available now for $199.99.
