Warning, it comes with Bing.

The HTC Merge has seen all of its dirty little details leak out to the Internet this week. Now we've got news via Electronista that the Merge will pack the same mighty 800 MHz processor as the G2.

This puts it roughly in line, graphics-wise, with the Samsung Galaxy S. Linpack and Quadrant speed tests put the Merge ahead of the Nexus One. Moving on from the processor, the Merge also packs a 5 MP camera that records 720p video and a 3.7" Super LCD display. It runs Android 2.2 and will have a sliding keyboard and a GSM slot for European use.

The only downside of this sweet new mobile? Locked-in mandatory Bing. You'll still be able to download Google Maps, but searching will default to Microsoft's engine and the Google Search widget may or may not work.
