Ten million by 2011 doesn't sound so crazy now.
Samsung's new Galaxy S smartphone is proving to be an iPhone-level success. The Galaxy Tab and Galaxy S both launched today in Japan. The phone will be on sale in late October and the Tab will hit stores in late November.
As part of the announcement, Samsung gave out their latest sales numbers for the Galaxy S family. So far, over 5 million units have been moved worldwide. Back in September we heard sales were up to two million, which points to very healthy growth for this handset. Move over Motorola. Samsung is the new king of Android.
