Sony announced in Japan the PS3 HDD Recorder Pack 320GB comprising a 320GB Sony PS3 console and a torne digital terrestrial tuner and application. The new bundle pack will become available for a limited offer on November 18, 2010, in Japan at what Sony says is a very attractive recommended retail price of 39,980 yen (including tax) (~$480).
Sony unveiled the torne digital tv receiver in January in Japan. The PS3 tuner with DVR apps is also available in Europe under the PlayTV name.
