Any PC gamer can tell you that not all LCDs are created equal when it comes to playing PC games. A screen with a slow response time can create video issues that make the game almost impossible to play. The new Samsung P2770FH LCD won't have that issue though.
The new LCD has the lowest response time in the industry of 1ms. This will reduce motion blur according to Samsung, but take the claim with a grain of salt. There is no set industry standard for measuring response time so the numbers are arbitrary at this point from all LCD makers.
The 27-inch screen has a 1920 x 1080 resolution, 70,000:1 contrast, and viewing angles of 170 to 160-degrees. Inputs include HDMI, VGA, DVI, and optical audio out. The P2770FH will launch this month for $399.99.
