CEA, the CES organizers, just announced that Audi chairman Rupert Stadler will deliver a keynote at the CES 2011. Audi will join Microsoft, Verizon and Samsung as keynote speakers. Stadler's keynote address is slated for 11 a.m., Thursday, January 6, in the Las Vegas Hilton Theater. The 2011 show marks Audi's first International CES keynote address. What is Audi going to have to say at the CES?

CEA President and CEO Gary Shapiro says that Rupert Stadler will talk about his outlook on the future of Audi and the ongoing relationship between the consumer technology and automotive markets. The CES has halls that are exhibiting car electronics, but I am not sure if that rectifies a CES keynote. Let's see what Mr. Stadler has to say. He is sure also talking about the electric car developments Audi has made (e-tron).

Rupert Stadler was named Chairman of the Board of Management of AUDI AG in January, 2007. Additionally, in his capacity as Chairman of the Board of Management of Audi, Stadler was appointed to the Board of Management of Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft on January 1, 2010.

The CES 2011 will open its doors on January 6th in Las Vegas. We will of course provide in-depth coverage all new CES 2011 announcements. Expect the first major CES News already in December. Find all CES 2011 News on our CES Hub.
