NTT Docomo and Olympus exhibit at the CEATEC 2010 a tiny head mounted display for augmented reality applications. The AR Walker features slim design and a very low weight. HMD's like that are in development since years. In 2005 we reported about the Scalar Teleglasses which already just weight back then 7g. Now with augmented reality apps invading smart phones the AR Walker could finally have a market. NTT Docomo is currently discussing launch plans.
The AR Walker creates an image in the lower half of the right eye's field of view. More details on Tech-On.
