There are already a number of cases on the market today for the iPhone 4 and earlier models that have a battery inside to extend the run time of the smartphone. Poor battery life is one of the biggest complaints about the iPhone from many users, so these cases are popular accessories.
iPhone 4 users now have a new option to choose from with a case called the AP1201 from Energizer. The case sells for $69.99 and is available around the country at major retailers right now. The battery inside the case promises almost twice the run time for the iPhone 4.
That battery charges via USB and can charge the iPhone 4 internal battery and the case battery at the same time. The battery has a life span of 500 charges according to Energizer. The case also has hidden LEDs on the back to show the power left in the case battery.
