PayPal Update for iPhone App Brings Deposits by Pic

We can all agree that going to the bank to make a deposit is a pain. It's hard for many people to find time to make it to the bank. If you use PayPal as your bank, a new update for the iPhone app will make it easier to deposit checks.

The update is v2.7 and it adds a deposit service that takes your checks with images of the front and back of the check as the only requirement. It will take about six days to get the money into the account and you only need hold the check for 15 days.

After that 15-day period is up you can throw the check away if you want. The Mobile Check Capture service is powered by BankServ and the app is available right now.
