Watch Ballmer and de la Vega unveil Windows Phone 7.

Microsoft will hold the major Windows Phone 7 launch event in New York today Oct. 11th (Columbus Day). Microsoft is offering a live video stream of the press-conference starting at 9:30am EDT / 6:30am PDT.

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and AT&T CEO Ralph de la Vega will be hosting the event. We will finally get a clear picture of which Windows 7 Phone devices will be available on what carrier. Besides AT&T, T-Mobile is also expected to offer Windows Phone 7 phones in the United States. Official Windows Phone 7 information has already started to leak. Check out the LG Optimus 7 for instance.
