Microsoft launched Windows Phone 7 today. The first Windows Phone 7 phone will go on sale on Oct. 21st in Europe and on November 8th in the United States. The first Windows Phone 7 device are made by HTC, LG, Dell and Samsung. In the United States AT&T will offer three Windows Phones and T-Mobile two. See the list of all carriers around the globe and which Windows Phone 7 devices they are are going to offer below.
Each of the Windows Phone 7 devices unveiled have unique aspects that will appeal to different users. The LG Quantum (Optimus 7), HTC Mozart and Samsung Focus (Omnia 7) are the mainstream Windows Phone 7 phones. The HTC Surround is for music fans and the HTC HD7 is for people that love a big screen. The Dell Venue Pro has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and will appeal to business users.
