Samsung has already made the Windows Phone 7-packing Focus official. This "magic" device is basically a WP7 version of the wildly successful Galaxy S line. It has a 4" Super AMOLED display and a 1 GHz Hummingbird processor. Expect 8 GB of internal memory and the ability to take a 32 GB microSD card.
The camera is a 5 MP shooter with flash. It will launch in Canada exclusively with Rogers and in the US with AT&T. We've got no details on the Canadian release yet, but the Focus is due out in the US on November 8th for $199.99.
The Galaxy S line has already sold over 5 million units packing the Android OS. While WP7 has yet to prove it packs the same draw to consumers, hardware this good is bound to attract some buyers. The Focus will be the first WP7 smartphone available in the United States. Early adopters, this one's for you.
Update:
The Samsung Focus is on sale now.
