Germany is, besides the US, the last major iPhone market with an exclusive carrier deal. At the end of this month Vodafone and O2 will get their first official iPhone 4 customers and the Deutsche Telekom iPhone exclusivity comes to an end. AT&T will be the only exclusive carrier in a major market. The AT&T exclusivity will end in 2011, if the rumors about the Verizon iPhone indeed turned out to be true.

According to Focus Magazine, the Deutsche Telekom has sold about 1.9 million iPhones (as of September).
