Sony unveiled yesterday the Sony Google TV NSX-GT1 line-up and also the new Sony NSZ-GT1 Google TV Blu-ray player. The Sony NSZ-GT1 is a super sexy machine. The white case with the black top makes the Sony Google TV Blu-ray player a box that you do not want to hide.
The Logitech Google TV box gets serious competition from the NSX-GT1. The price difference is only $100 and you get a Blu-ray player. The only negative point is that the NSX-GT1 is not supporting 3D Blu-ray movies. If the NSX-GT1 would support 3D Blu-ray discs the choice would be totally clear in favor of the NSX-GT1.
Features of the Sony NSX-GT1 Blu-ray Player include 8GB storage, Wi-Fi, Dish DVR interface, and all Google TV features.
Google TV merges TV content and web content into one interface. You can seamlessly search across the content no matter what type it is. Besides access to video, TV and web content the Google TV box also supports apps. The pre-installed apps allow you to stream Netflix rentals, listen to Pandora Radio or use Twitter.
The Sony NSX-GT1 also comes with the special Sony Google TV remote control like the Sony Google TVs.
You can pre-order the Sony NSX-GT1 already on the Sony Style store here.
