Apple is releasing its Q4 2010 earnings numbers today at 5pm EST. The Apple Stock rose to its all time high last week. It stands now at $314.74. Will it go even higher today, or has the market already priced in the expected very positive numbers? Earlier this month the iPad was already the fastest selling electronic product based on sales estimates. Today Apple can make this official by releasing the official iPad numbers.
According to the Wall Street Journal analysts expect Apple to have sold 11 million iPhones and 4.7 million iPads in Q4. The earnings are predicted to rise over 46% compared to last year. The earnings have risen almost 40% in Q3 compared to the same quarter last year. The growth of Apple in this tough market is really pretty spectacular.
The earnings call today will kick off a week full of Apple news as the company is holding a media event on Wednesday titled Back to Mac.
