Sprint/Clearwire 4G: NYC, LA & San Francisco

Sprint/Clearwire 4G is about to hit three of the largest US markets. Electronista reports that the companies have pledged to bring 4G to New York City as well as Los Angeles and San Francisco, CA in the near future. NYC access is due to hit by November 1st.

LA won't get access until December 1st, while SF is due for the same by the end of December. Some users have already reported 4G service over the last few weeks, which is probably due to testing. This expansion should help Sprint compete with Verizon and T-Mo as the 4G battle heats up this holiday season.
