Sharkoon has pulled the wraps off its latest SATA HDD and SSD dock for mobile users called the Sharkoon SATA QuickPort mini for 2.5" SATA HDDs. The device can be had with either USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 connectivity.
The little dock is very portable with 85 x 55 x 45mm and gets all the power it needs for operation directly from the USB port. The dock will only work with portable size 2.5-inch SATA SSDs or HDDs and is small enough to be easily portable in a notebook bag.
The docking station is offered in USB 2.0 version for 9.99 euros and USB 3.0 version sells for 24.90 euros. Both of the docks are available now in Europe.
