Motorola and LG to have priority for Google support.
Poor HTC. They made the first Android phone, supported Google's OS from the early days, and now they're being snubbed for the likes of Motorola and LG. At least, that's what Digitimes claims based on reports from a JPMorgan analyst. HTC's tablet PC will be pushed from Q4 2010 to Q2 2011. Google will be giving priority to their support of Motorola's Android 3.0 tablet. LG has priority for Android 3.5.

So, assuming this is true, we're lead to believe that Google has thumbed their nose at a loyal ally- which seems a bit out of character. HTC has certainly done right by Android. One possible explanation for this is that Google is giving HTC priority on the first Android 4.0 tablet, due to launch in the second half of 2011.
