Angry Birds just got released under a lot of attention on Android last week after it broke already all kinds of records on the iPhone. Today Reuters reports that Angry Birds publisher Chillingo got bought by EA. EA has based on a inside source paid close to $20 million in cash for the company.
EA has confirmed the deal to Reuters with the statement: "By acquiring Chillingo, EA Mobile is increasing its market leadership on the Apple platform as well as reaffirming its position as the world's leading wireless entertainment publisher."
Rovio, the developer of Angry Bird told Mashable that the company controls the Angry Birds brand and any future products and that there will be further details tomorrow.
