Black Friday 3D TV Offers, where will they go from here?

Buy 3D TV from Amazon Cyber Monday and Black Friday Now

Amazon is already offering stunning 3D TV deals in October. How will retailers top these deals next month during the Black Friday 2010 sales season? As reported 3D TVs are not selling as well as expected in the United States. Earlier today we featured two 3D TV deals available on Amazon in October. You get free 3D Blu-ray Players and in the case of the LG 3D TV bundle deal four pair of 3D Glasses. The Samsung 3D TV deal gets you a free 3D Starter Kit on top of a free 3D Blu-ray player with a 3D TV purchase.

The qualifying 3D TVs for the above deals are also already heavily discounted. To beat these 3D TV deals retailers will need to offer the high-end 3D Blu-ray players for free and offer even deeper discounts. I guess there will also be deals where you get a set of free 3D Blu-ray movies with your 3D TV. There have not been many 3D Blu-ray movies released yet (there are not going to be that many anyway).

Right now the above 3D TV deals are not helping 3D TVs to break in to the list of the top 20 TVs sold on Amazon. The Holiday 2010 Shopping season is the first one in which 3D TVs are on sale, but maybe consumers are waiting another year to jump on the 3D bandwagon. It will be exciting to see how far retailers will go to sell their inventory of 2010 model 3D TVs.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
